Ambassadors
Encourage Chamber membership by welcoming new businesses to the Spearfish community, participating in membership retention drives and greeting at Chamber mixers and events. For information on Ambassadors, please contact member@spearfishchamber.org.

Workforce Development
Assists and executes business education, seminars, and luncheons for our current workforce, along with professional development and mentoring for our high school and college students.

Governmental Affairs
Represents and educates the membership on issues and challenges presented by local, state and federal entities; monitors legislation as it pertains to the Chamber’s mission and business community; makes recommendations to the Chamber board of directors when positions on issues may be required; plans and executes candidate forums, Cracker Barrels, and legislative update sessions.

Chamber Functions
Plans and executes current standing Chamber events such as Taste of Spearfish, Annual Banquet & Awards, Annual Community Picnic. Researches and creates sustainable additional non-dues revenue streams.

The Hook-Young Professionals
The Spearfish Chamber The Hook meet the second Tuesday of each month. The Hook formally known as YP-Young Professionals is open to anyone in the Spearfish area between the ages of 21 and 40. The vision is to establish relationships, empower each other, and engage in the community. The monthly socials help make connections and to focus on networking, mentorship, and service.
