Including one High School, one Middle School, two Elementary Schools and six Preschools.
Spearfish HIGH SCHOOL 2007-2008 Highlights:
- SHS was chosen as an exemplary school for writing
- ACT scores continue to rise
- Knowledge Bowl team qualified for the Regional Knowledge Bowl competition
- 23 new students were inducted into the SHS National Honor Society
- There were two national merit Semi-Finalists and two national merit Finalists in the Class of 2008
Spearfish MIDDLE SCHOOL 2007-2008 Highlights:
- Student council sponsored a Veteran's Day Program. Veterans from students families and school staff were recognized and provided a breakfast
- Students participated in a Spearfish health Fair to celebrate and promote health and wellness.
- A student was honored for 500 hours of volunteer work by the national Association of Secondary Principals.
Spearfish ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 2007-2008 Highlights:
- Author visit from Warren Hansen
- Fire Prevention assembly
- Hawaiian Luau Spring Carnival
- Donuts for Dads and Muffins for Moms drew nearly 550 parents/grandparents/friends
- Images of the World presentation by Bruce Junek
