Business Education

Plans and executes training on specific business topics. Encourages youth mentoring and workforce development opportunities.


The Spearfish Chamber Diplomats consist of past chamber board members and act as a public relations arm of the Chamber by hosting a variety of events.

Governmental Affairs

Represents and educates the membership on issues and challenges presented by local, state and federal entities; monitors legislation as it pertains to the Chamber’s mission and business community; makes recommendations to the Chamber board of directors when positions on issues may be required; plans and executes candidate forums, Cracker Barrels, and Legislative update sessions.

Creates a sustainable non-dues revenue stream by planning and executing fundraisers; researches and develops revenue-generating products and services.

Young Professionals

The Spearfish Chamber Young Professionals meet the first Tuesday of each month. Their mission is: Dynamically enhancing the community of Spearfish through effective leadership, enhanced global perspective, professional development, and networking for ongoing growth & impact. Encouraging our business membership’s young workforce, ages 21-40, through professional development, mentoring, social networking and volunteering.
